fourth of drunk-ly

drink recipe.
For the day we celebrate our patriotism and kind of remember we’re sorta part of the South.

As far as our extensive research can tell, the best boat drink, while maybe not the most traditional, is Sweet Tea Vodka. A popular drink among rowdy frats in Southern colleges, it’s quickly creeping up our list of favorite ways to get the world spinning a little faster. It’s perfect for the boat because you don’t need a mixer, which also makes it, like, really scary for the boat. All you need is ice and a little water if you wish.  It may taste like sweet tea, but it’s really straight vodka that is freakishly flavored.

If you need to water down your friends drinks a little (don’t we all have those friends?) or want something a little fancier than straight vodka on the rocks, here’s a super quick and easy idea for a fourth of drunkly recipe that you still have time to whip together.

super super sweet tea lemonade
about a dozen lemons, squeezed fresh
two lemons sliced into thin circles for garnish
sweet tea vodka, we like Firefly because they're the original, but any kind works
water to taste
ice
simple syrup

mix.

the rest is history, righteous 1776 history.
