spanish bombshells?

this confusing spread from the newest issue of V Magazine is some kind of homage to what they call "Spanish Bombshells." miami nice usually (but not always) tries to use some discretion when posting nude pictures (I know some of you are sneaking this read during work and when boobies come up it's an immediate cnt+m), but this bizarre shoot seemed like it should go up for discussion.
What's the deal with this? (the whole spread is even more nude and less narrative) What is this saying about Spanish girls (as in from Spain)? Why doesn't it even look like it's in Spain or contain any other Spanish things? Any thoughts?
