check out lunch at cecconi's

cecconi's, the open-for-all part of the members-only club, is like a magical garden for fairies you love simple Italian food. What I mean to say is that Cecconi's is beautiful and the food is totally magical.

Frankly, all of the Soho House really nails this Brit-meets-Miami style, part English elegance, part Miami-irreverence and part deco-decor. There are framed sketches of penises in the lobby right alongside lush Chesterfield couches. At Cecconi's it's hard to decide what they do better, the dining or the decor?

Go during the day and enjoy lunch. You can see the details better in the light (but you won't have the twinkling cafe lights casting that romantic glow), the lunch menu is priced a bit lower and it's less crowded. Just a little pointer from me to you. You're welcome.

when we had lunch there and snapped these pics, there were a few ladies wearing big hats and having what seemed to be a boozy-reunion of some sort. They weren't dressed like this, but in my mind, they should have all been in matching garden party Rochas S/S 2013:
