blahblahbasel begins
call me uncultured, but to me Art Basel is kind of a mystery. The art world descends upon Miami in droves with their Proenza and Birkins, their dreadlocks and their giant floating balloons, but life on Miracle Mile or in Sunset Place or wherever just goes on, untouched. No parking problems to speak of. Talk about a segregated society.
This Art Basel miami nice is going to try and make blahblahbasel nice for everyone. We'll pick out just a few of the overwhelming amount of events, and the ones that are accessible to all, to cover. We'll keep you posted about Basel and what the heck is going on in Wynwood, Midtown, and on the Beach. Or we'll try anyway. Do your part, if you know of something sweet send it in to editormiaminice@gmail.com.
Exhibit A: The Vanity Fair party at the MOCA. Tickets are only $25 and you're guaranteed an editor spotting or two and all the Dewar's you can drink.
