nice order: christy's prime rib of beef

I think I’ve tried just about everything on the menu at Christy’s my very favorite place to go pretend I’m a rich old lady (I also went there on Halloween dresses as a gaucho, but you know, gotta do what you gotta do for a pre trick-or-treat buzz). Last time I was there I decided to experiment with two dishes I’ve never tried - and, let it be known, both top my favorite foods list regularly, but, then again, so does the entire menu at Christy’s - the escargot and the prime rib of beef.

The escargot is not pictured here because I don’t think it’s possible to get a good picture of snails drenched in green butter sauce in dim light, but here’s the best I could do with the prime rib. The menu mentions that there’s limited availability, but I was really sold on it by a waiter who billed it as their signature item.

I dare you to eat this and still have space for baked Alaska.
