the odds I go my whole life without mercury poisoning from eating too much sushi are really not in my favor. If it was up to me, I'd be eating sushi for breakfast, lunch and dinner - and when I go to Japan in October, you can bet your butt that I will be.  

With the closure of Sushi Deli, I had to mourn what I really believe to be the best sushi in Miami. And I wasn't alone. But, to be honest, it was out of the way for me and pretty far off of anywhere that my regular routine would take me. That doesn't mean I didn't find a reason to detour a bit and eat alone there whenever I was even remotely near by, but it does mean that I didn't get to eat there as often as I'd like. Here are five sushi spots that are in my regular rotation:
