the wonderland that is the faena
there isn't much hotel coverage on MIAMI NICE because, well, because we live here so we have somewhere to sleep already. But the Faena is so remarkable, and frankly, so weird, in the very best way possible, that we couldn't resist snapping a bunch of photos to post after a leisurely late lunch on the last days of Miami Spice. Not featured here: the Tierra Santa Spa (rainbow chandelier #goals, anyone?) where I'm dying to do a sound healing treatment.
Look out for a longer piece, including photos from our recent visit to the Faena in Buenos Aires, the OG if you will, soon. For now, enjoy this nice bit of Dr. Seuess Miami Tropicana Wonderland eye candy.
(Psssssstt.... if you're looking at the maximalism design, the kooky but beautiful landscaping, the fringe umbrellas and wondering what the heck this place is, here's a primer courtesy of the New York Times, and yes, it's more than a hotel)
