key west weekend update

this is a long overdue mini-update on a Key West weekend road trip. But when I say mini I mean MINI because I stand by the old guide, even though it's been a few years. What can I say, things move slowly way down in Cayo Hueso.

Breakfast : Glazed Donuts.

Sunscreen : Reef Safe. A biodegradable sunscreen that's safe for our little friends underwater. Thanks to Reef safe for sending me the full, amazing lineup of products. I especially liked the swimsuit cleaner and the after sun moisturizer.

Mojitos : El Meson de Pepe.

House : Last time it was a romantic trip for two, but this time we went on a big group pachanga. We rented this beautiful house in the Truman Annex. The monkey details and cloud painted ceiling were extra touches, but the chef's kitchen won me over.

Take Out: Eaton Street Seafood Market. Get the conch salad.

Craft Cocktails: The Other Side. The other side of our go-to fav, The Porch.

Iced Coffee: Cuban Coffee Queen.

Live Music : The Durtbags at Dirty Harrys.
