steven meisel and friends visit the design district

linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and more of fashion's beautiful faces are visiting the Design District's Moore Building until June 10th in an exhibit of Steven Meisel's Role Play through June 10th. A very fashionable set of humans decended upon the Zaha Hadid building looking like they'd bought all their outfits from the surrounding stores (Marni, Prada, Margiela, et al). 

I'm always pleased to have a nice excuse to talk about fashion photography, but it's not every day that I have a clear link to Miami. When I was in high school I saw Annie Leibowitz speak at the old New World Symphony and it's such a clear, cool memory. When Steven Meisel's name popped up in my inbox I was so glad the opening was on a Monday so that I could make it. 

The photos are beautiful. Of course. The one featured above is my choice for what I would want in my living room.
