the cuban dessert counter

desserts don't really do it for me. I'll go double appetizer any day. But every once in a while a good flan really hits the spot. And a good flan is not a Splenda flan.

Almost none of these desserts at the Gilbert's counter look appetizing to me, but they're all visually appealing. I love to take a minute and look inside these funny counters filled with colorful, ooeygoey sweet treats. They are just so cute. Does anyone else feel like this? Am I all alone on this one?
