etsy and crafty, it's been a while

i used to regularly put together Etsy and Crafty posts, but lately the local Etsy search has been so depressing that I thought I would just shelf the idea and never do another post like that again. I'm talking de-pres-sing. How many little crosses on a chain or baby Swarovski Ugg boots can a girl tolerate?!? Turns out, by my measure, a whole shit load. All the local Etsy vendors seem to think that's exactly what us Miami internet shopping addicts want. But we know better around here, so I patiently waited for another collection of vendors that was worth celebrating and I found a few. 

Somehow, I'm already thinking of Christmas again, and, as usual, am highly overambitious about getting my shopping done locally. With a little help from Etsy vendors like these (there must be more of them out there! if you know of any send it over to @miaminicemag on twitter) I can start ordering, like, the day after Halloween, because any time before then just seems ridiculous. 

Anyway, cheers to these Etsy vendors and here's to many more - and many less cut-out kid birthday kits, initial necklaces, cupcake toppers, candy stickers (seriously wtf) etc, etc, etc.
