the mythical Trader Joe's in Pinecrest is finally open. Forget the haters and the gossip (and fights) about the parking lot and head there stat. Like NOW. The nicest favor I can do you is tip you off to a few of my favorite products. If you have any suggestions tweet them to us @miaminicemag. I'll be nice and add it to the list.

Nicest Groceries at Trader Joes:

french style gruyere, ham and carmelized onion topped tarte (located by the frozen pizza)

corn and chile tomato-less salsa (in a jar)

pumpkin ice cream (seasonal, so stock up)

half-baked baguettes (you finish baking them so they taste super fresh)

guacamole ingredients in a bag (avocados, tomatoes, shallots)

cuban-style black beans (need we say more?)

pink himalayan salt

jumbo scallops (there's never been frozen seafood that comes in so handy, but it's comes at a pricier tag than most TJs stuff)

shampoo and conditioner (so cheap, just as effective)

soaps (lavender, oatmeal)

dumplings (they come frozen and in a whole bunch of flavors)

all condiments and sauces (they're cheap, they're tasty and you can experiment with the ingredients you usually skip on the recipe list because you don't want to buy it to use just this one. at about a dollar each, your pantry will soon be filled with glazes, sauces, and good stuff)

corn and chile tamal (comes frozen, there are also some more meaty options)

flowers (right now, i'm feeling the extra dark red baby roses with the stems left long)
