back back back it up
you've probably passed Silvia Tcherassi's eponymous store in Merrick Park dozens of times, it's the one on the corner when you're coming out of the parking that you've probably thought isn't for you. The store gives off a little bit of a high-society-Latin American-woman-who-piles-on-chunky-gem-necklaces vibe. Personally, I aspire to find a way to mix leopard and linen and emeralds into a single outfit just about every day and would wear a silk gown to sleep if I could, so the store runs right up my alley. From the windows that is, because I've never been inside. I've long been a Silvia Tcherassi window shopper.
The internet is one big window shopping experience if you ask me, so I wasn't too surprised to stumble upon my window-shopping guilty pleasure and find Tcherassi's work on L-Atitude an online market place that curated the best international good from designers around the world. Tcherassi is listed as from Bogota, but we can tell her by two Coral Gables bouqtiues (one is bridal) that she, like so many Colombians before her, has made Miami her home base.
These mochilas arun between $390 and $1,200, so we're probably keep this a window shopping habit, but a habit nonetheless.
