bread & butter's bread and buttery cuban reuben

i've found two places in Miami that serve a "Cuban Reuben" the parts parts of a traditional Jewish deli reuben with pastrami, sauerkraut, thousand island dressing and corned beef. I don't know exactly what connects this to Cuban cuisine, but at Bread & Butter in Coral Gables and at Roasters and Toasters in Pinecrest, they're serving up Cuban Reubens. I also don't know exactly what pastrami and corned beef are but I'm happy to eat them. Maybe the only connection is that it's a meaty sandwich and Cubans love a meaty sandwich.
