what you'll find at stoneage antiques
a better question is "What can't you find at Stoneage Antiques?" Well you won't find bland-Scandi (but much beloved) Ikea style anything, you won't find over stuffed department store style couches or boring anything, but you will find hundred and hundreds and hundreds maybe hundreds of thousands of props, thingys and doo dads, trinkets, memorabilia, a little of this and a little of that, some big things, some small things, some things that you won't understand, some old things, some less old things, some seriously rusted things, some things you'll think you need and some things that will make you wonder what it was ever needed for.
This rather eclectic store (understatement of the century), over by the airport is a resource for films and television shows that are filming in Miami. If you're looking to wander in a warehouse with no airconditioning that's positively packed with strange things, mostly of the nautical variety, you'll find what you're looking for at Stoneage Antiques.
Sometimes, places like this feel like you aren't supposed to really be there. Like they're special places for industry insiders and you aren't welcome - this wasn't the case at Stoneage, where there are people that work there lurking around with a smile. Surprisingly, this staff has a pretty good grasp of where things are in their endless wonderland of stuff.
Every backyard in Miami can use a little dash of Stoneage flair to give it a good Caribbean touch. Don't you agree?
