south American sodas are the very best in the world. The mystery-red-soda that is ubiquitous in all our southern neighboring countries is a super sweet, bubbly concoction that each country makes their own. I'm partial to soda roja, of whatever generic brand from Panama, but a very, very close second is Venezuela's Frescolita.

Why you can't find these red sodas (or more-pinkish in the case of Frescolita) be available just as much as the far inferior sodas we can find everywhere? Why is there no justice in this world?!

Similarly, why the heck can't we find more arepas around here? So far, European Corner is the only place I've found a perfect arepa domino (white cheese and black beans) and that MAKES NO SENSE. It's the perfect meal. White cheese is the very best cheese ever. And everyone likes an arepa, right?

In conclusion, let's get some more Venezuelan food around Miami. We deserve it.
