la carreta: a question and a cafe con leche
question: what are the differences between the
and the
menus? The Versailles menu is basically a book and the La Carreta one is a bit more concise. What you you order at one and not the other? What do you order at one and not the other?
Moving on, here are a few notable things on a Saturday afternoon at La Carreta.
That wheel. It lights up, it's huge, talk about marketing that works. The ventanita was hosting a man in camo with a dog in a vest, someone showing of his guns, and a dude on a very important phone call. The ceiling, covered in straw is so, so cozy. Also, a lady at the booth next to mine was a friend of a waitress from church and she introduced her to every other waitress, and one waiter, who referred to Sunday as the "fiesta del señor."
