they are, of course, reasonably priced, tortoise shell trendy-but-classic glasses legs of course, but nonetheless, they're back.

, Sunglass Hut was back. In fact, they're probably more literally back than any of us realize.
Sunglass Hut was founded in Miami in 1971 by Sanford Ziff. Oh, Sanford Ziff, that names sounds familiar, yeah well, you probably used to drive by the Arsht Center's Ziff Opera House on the reg without giving it a second thought, then there was that whole debacle after Dolores Ziff died and good ol Sanford wanted to replace her name with his new young (ish at 68 years old) boo's name. Dr-ah-ma.
Anyway
, betcha didn't know that Sunglass Hut was once a Miami based brand because it's now absolutely, positively everywhere.
