emporium in Coral Gables was recently featured on miami nice editor Patricia's New Times boutique column Great Finds, but there were so many precious little finds in there that just sharing one great one didn't seem to do it justice.

The beauty of Emporium is in its hand craftedness, there is a real sense that someone choose to fill this little storefront by a knitting store and a Chinese restaurant, with things that they really loved. There's no single focus in this store, making it an interesting chest of treasures, there are modern friendship bracelets, a children's book about Miami, wedges made of recycled plastic and custom silhouette Christmas ornaments.
