chill out with fever pops
chocolate banana sea salt, peanut butter and jelly, strawberry milkshake aka pink panther, mimosa; that's basically a list of delicious things. Surprisingly, they're a list of delicious things that the couple behind Fever Pops has morphed into a list of all natural popsicle flavors found around the city in their coolers (like at Panther Coffee) and in on-the-go trucks at events and promotions (like for David Guetta).
There's never been a better dessert for the Miami crowd. It's a cold treat, perfect year-round here instead of just as a red, white, and blue Fourth of July dessert. It's surprising that it took this long for someone local to really capitalize on what could be the most brilliant dessert ever- it even has fruit in it so it feels healthy, and get this, the Fever Pops actually are pretty healthy.
All of Fever Pops delectable desserts-on-a-stick are made vegan friendly with coconut milk and with agave or cane juice. If there was a label on these, you'd be able to read all the ingredients. Every two weeks they release need flavors and their fall flavors include, my very favorite, pumpkin spice.
If healthy eating isn't really you're thing and you're more into... say... drinking, well Fever Pops are for you too! That's right, they're not just great for Miami because they can cool you down on a feverish day, because they're healthy enough to not skip on dessert or a snack and keep you pretty fit, but they're also alcoholic! Working with just enough alcohol that it will still freeze and that you can still taste it, there are flavors for parties from mimosa to margarita (we suggested they make a tamarindo margarita with cayenne... it could be called the miami nice pop... just sayin').
The Fever Pops people were super nice and invited us for a little taste test at their headquarters in the Little River Business District, which solved the eternal mystery for us of where the McArthur Milk trucks were located, and introduced is to this great little gated warehouse building that houses not only their lab, but an organic grass fed beef company and a t-shirt company that call themselves "the hispanic Urban Outfitters." I went home with a box that I ate in like five minutes and am looking forward to the next miami nice party where I can't resist but to have a Fever Pop cart so that you all can try it too, and if you are looking for a way to impress at a dinner party or full blown pachanga or have a company looking for a creative way to get your product out keep it cool and do it with Fever Pops.
