OYE! a contest worth your five minutes
oye! there's a sandwich contest over at OYE Cuban Grill that'll take you five minutes, assuming you think as much about food as we do, that can win you your name on their menu.
OYE Cuban Grill is "inspired in Cuba, made in America," like much else in Miami. What makes OYE different is how fresh and relevant they've made a Cuban restaurant- rather, a Cuban American restaurant. From the menu to the decor, a chic combination of comfortable (couches, televisions), chic ( oversized cork lampshades hang from the ceiling and chalkboards have the daily specials scrawled on them) and familiar (hats hang in a corner behind the cafesito bar) OYE reads Miami through and through. Oh, the food? It's nice. Real nice. Try the OYE wrap and you'll see.
The contest is as easy as... well, flan. Head over to the OYE Facebook page and flip through the inside and outside options for the 'wich and post it under the notes section. If you win, they'll name the sandwich after you.
