white on white has always been in style. especially in Miami where we conveniently ignore the rules of the road and that silly rule about not wearing white after Labor Day, because why wouldn't we?
This old Michael Kors picture makes me feel better about the white on white trend that's been everywhere lately, like it's timeless after all. Plus, how hysterical is his perm?

 

 copy this look by thinking about proportions. The pants a little too long, a little to wide, the shirt a little too big. Stick with crisp whites, don't stray into eggshells or offs.  Show some skin, whether its above the ankle below the knee, a deep V, or off the shoulders the color scheme is white plus your tan.
