Rachel Goodrich is "Miami's Indie Queen". With good reason--her music is great, she has a unique sound with something very "Miami" about it, and she's generally super cute. Her style, sometimes called Shake-a-Billy, could be described as an "eclectic blend of vaudeville-inspired indie pop, swing-jazz and country-folk". She released her second, self-titled album this past February. Check. It. Out.

Her biggest song/happiness anthem, "Light Bulb", was recently remixed by another Miami-based artist, ANR (Awesome New Republic), who put a nice electro-poppy twist on the track. Listening and download link below. Good stuff all around. Reppin' the hood.
