ready to uff and self destruct

electro-pop artists uffie (uh-fee) totally belongs on miami nice- not only was she born in Miami before moving to Hong Kong and eventually launching a Paris based career that lead to collaborations with label-mate Justice and songs where she sings that she's ready to uff, but she had a show this weekend for Winter Music Festival at the Standard.
Guarch III called the event either the best or worst show Uffie's ever given- but none-the-less an awesome time. Little pixie blond Uffie sang four songs, was noticeably shitfaced, and then jumped in the pool. What's not to love about that? Sounds like a fun night to me, especially because the Standard is seriously beautiful. Guarch III wonders if she'll ever play again after virtually self-destructing in front of the crowd on Thursday night, but with a big collaboration on the horizon with Steve Aoki, Kid Cudi, Lil Jon, Weezer, and Sky Ferreira it doesn't look like Uffie is going anywhere. We can only hope for more alcohol induced pool jumping and dance tracks from uh-uh-uffie of course.
