from the same legendary Cuban kitchen as Versailles comes it's somewhat grimier, cargo short wearing, ugly (but reallyyyy, reallyyyyy nice... and by that I mean delicious) step-brother- La Palma located a little further down Calle Ocho. It's open even later than Versailles and La Carreta and is equally as scrumptious and especially better eaten late night. The walk up window with outdoor seating is the no-frills late night spot that makes eating in Miami so much better than McDonald's.
