if you've driven up and down US1 in the past few weeks you are sure to have noticed those banner ads that they run up and down the light poles. If you're the type to have you ipod in while driving and texting and yelling about traffic, perhaps you haven't noticed them yet. Don't worry bad drivers, as I made my way up that death trap that they call US1 I Googled (there was traffic) those weird ads that say something about a castle and psychics (who could resist?). Coral Castle Museum.

Honestly, without going to Coral Castle, it's hard to actually imagine this place the website describes. So, you'll see a new tag in the "adventures" section (probably also "only in miami" "fun facts" and all those other weird-bizarr-o tags) really soon because I'm going to have to make the trip to Homestead and check out the place that was built by a five foot tall man named Ed who weighed less than a hundred pounds. It gets weirder and weirder and the photos of this place speak for themselves. The first Saturday of every month they have psychic day, Billy Idol wrote a song about Ed's unrequited love, and it's been on Ripleys Believe It or Not. Basically, there's a freak show right in our cookie-cutter home backyard of Homestead.
