dwayne wade fashionista?
contributing editor J.Azze sent in an article about Dwayne Wade's outfit on Jay Leno. The sports and fashion worlds are usually expected to be kept in separate conversation, for separate people, but with the Trio-five (my favorite of the nickname proposals thus far) drama in the media everyone is jumping on the bandwagon. It's seemed like any conversation in Miami isn't complete without mention of basketball (sigh), but that's the way things are around here, last week it was Spain, this week it's the Heat. C'est la vie around here.
But, does this article cross the line?
"Wade apologized for his gaffe and moved on — he didn’t even talk about it on The Tonight Show, opting to let his band jacket do the talking for him. The military-inspired number projected calm authority and self-control, and Wade’s personality on the show followed suit. But, as one of the best-dressed men in the NBA, we’re guessing Wade already knew that. Proof positive that clothes really do make the man."
More importantly, are band jackets even cool anymore? I thought they were over with Rihanna spreads in cheesy girl magazines and MJ karaoke contests. Thoughts on this puzzling post?
