some summer conciertos
here's a list of some of the summer concerts/events listed on Ticketmaster, obviously Ticketmaster is the most obvious way of finding out what's up in our hood, but don't forget to check some of the more indie venues (I'm not talking Death Cab indie here, I mean local bookstores for signings (Books and Books has one almost everyday... seriously, you can get smarter at Books and Books every single day), smaller venues for more local acts (like Churchills), and outdoor concerts (like at Bayfront Park).

la boheme - july 15-17 - the colony (that's the opera that Rent is based on)

um... arena on the water. you've gotta go to something this summer.
