filmakers, chu got somesing to say?

i got this great e-mail today about the Borscht Film Festival, and while that name doesn't sound totally Miami, I assure you the festival will be 100% my-ah-me.
So what is it? They're looking for screenwriters, musicians, and directors to write stories all about this humid, bilingual, chongi, tropical, spectacular (but always tacky) place that we call home. So if you're looking to be the Miami Woody Allen, but you know that Versailles is not just a castle in France, this might be your big break.
It's the seventh year of the competition and last year there was an audience at the Gusman Center for over 1,500 people.
