The best beach braid of all time if definitely the half-scalp cornrow with the beads on the end that every little girl got on vacation at some point (pictures please anyone?). You know what I mean, when you would volunteer as a nine year old to get your hair yanked on the beach into tiny braids that hurt so badly you were sure there wasn't enough of something important getting to your brain. And then you would get to school on Monday, ready to show off those suckas and BAM, no Jamaican braids allowed at school (at least that's what would happen to me- which is totally effed but whatevsies).
